Is there a Pirate Princess?
The Pirate Princess is a recurring character from Disney Junior's television series Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
Relationships. Plot. Fena Houtman (フェナ・ハウトマン, Fena Hautoman?) is the titular protagonist of Fena: Pirate Princess. She is a princess who escapes from Shangri-La and the British Empire, and recruits a group of samurai and ninjas known as the Seven Samurai to help her on her voyage, becoming their captain.
Fena: Pirate Princess delivers a cruel twist: regardless of her choice, Fena will lose her memories of everything that's happened so far to spare her the suffering that will come. She will also need to continue her bloodline. Fena appears before Yukimaru, hair long, already looking like she is far out of his reach.
Protagonists. An eighteen-year-old, pale-skinned princess with white blonde hair who was set adrift ten years ago by a younger Yukimaru the day her father's ship was attacked. Upon arriving on the island of Shangri-La, she is taken in by some people of a brothel.
Besmara (pronounced bes-MAR-uh), also known as the Pirate Queen, is a goddess most commonly worshiped by the sailor-folk of the Shackles or Ilizmagorti.
1. Anne Bonny – At the top of the list is Anne Bonny, probably the most famous female pirate to sail during the Golden Age. She was a member of Calico Jack's crew, along with Mary Read, but it is said that the two women fought with more skill than any man on board the ship.

Not all women were afraid of pirates; in fact, history shows that pirates were not unlikely to marry, with many a pirate captain bringing his wife aboard ship for the ride. Some of these pirate wives had a great adventure, while others had a rough time.

Which pirate was secretly a woman?
by Robyn Codlin. Englishwoman Mary Read is ultimately remembered for two things: as a woman who disguised herself as a man, and for her career as a fearsome pirate. Born in England towards the end of the 17th century, Mary was the illegitimate daughter of a young widow.
She merely tells her that whatever happens next is up to her but she's sure Fena will be fine. Another figure from Fena's past makes a shocking appearance: her father Franz, who had taken care of her for 10 years before dying on the Hope.

Rachel Wall (née Schmidt) is thought to be the first American female pirate, born in Pennsylvania in 1760. When she was sixteen she married George Wall, and the pair soon moved to Boston where Rachel worked as a maid and George as a fisherman.

1 – Blackbeard
Easily the most famous buccaneer on the list and possibly the most terrifying pirate of all time, Blackbeard had a reputation of horrific magnitude in his day.
Blackbeard is probably the best-known pirate in history, even though his life is shrouded in mystery. Much of what we know about him and other pirates of his time comes from a 1724 book, published under the name Capt. Charles Johnson, called "A General History of the Pyrates (opens in new tab)".

What did pirates fear?
Sailors and pirates tended to be very superstitious - that is, they had a fear of the unknown and used it to explain misfortune (bad things that happened). Living and working on a ship in the middle of the seven seas was a very dangerous job.

Though this Golden Age came to an end in the 18th century, piracy still exists today in some parts of the world, especially the South China Seas.
