Which ACCA exam should I take first?
Doing Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) first will give you the best chances of success in AAA. Before you attempt the Strategic Professional exams, we recommend studying the Ethics and Professional Skills module.
- Find a centre offering on-demand centre exams (on-demand CBEs).
- Contact the centre directly to make arrangements to sit your exam(s).
- Pay the centre directly for the exam(s) you wish to sit.
- On exam day, your identity will be checked by the invigilator.
On Demand CBEs (F1-F4)
Exams for the subjects F1- F4 are “on demand”. This means you can book and sit your exam whenever it is most convenient for you – there are no exam periods at this level and you can book in for your exam at any time of the year.
ACCA December 2021 pass rates have been announced. APM is the paper with the lowest pass rate among the Options – just 32%, and AFM has the highest pass rate at 41%. The two Essential paper pass rates are holding 'nice and steady' at 51% for SBL and 48% for SBR.
For most students, Audit Assurance is generally considered to be the toughest paper, especially at this level.

How many hours should I study for ACCA? When you're studying ACCA we recommend you plan to do a minimum of 8 hours per week. Study time varies in terms of how long it will take you to cover the syllabus, but you can expect to spend about 11 weeks on each paper.

Does ACCA have future?

The key difference between CBEs and paper-based exams is that all live CBEs have different questions as they are automatically constructed from a question bank. It means two people sitting the exam at the same time will get a different version of the exam.
Students who need more technical language and conceptual clarity chose BPP. KAPLAN books were more pre-dominantly sold at Knowledge level approx. 68%. At the strategic level, students prefer BPP by almost 85% as it has more case studies, and the language is more technical, which helps students in exam preparation.
